ROBERT MATTER: Calendar

Had a great turn out for this show. In fact, I was requested to play an extra half hour due to the lingering crowd who didn't seem to want to go home. It was a windy day and towards the end of the show it started to get pretty cold (for some people) but But we all enjoyed a great evening of food and music. I'm looking forward to performing at the Main Street Farmers Market again next season. I hope they invite me back.

Had a good time with Soundogz tonight playing some acoustic music for the patrons of The Rustic Inn in Fort Calhoun. Met some nice folks from Omaha....Barry, Marie, John and Nancy. Hope to see them again soon at a future performance. Thanks to everyone who came out tonight to support us.

I enjoyed my first performance at the Benson Farmers Market. The rain clouds moved on and the sky cleared up and let the sunshine in. The vendors and shoppers gave me positive feedback and seemed to enjoy hearing my music as much as I enjoyed performing it. It's always nice to play a new venue as I usually meet some really nice people. Today was no exception. Mr Chuck Gallup and Mr Russ Martin made me feel welcome and encouraged me through out the morning. Many of the vendors contributed a portion of their wares which I appreciated very much. I even sold one CD!! Overall it was a great experience. Thanks to everyone at the Benson Farmers Market and those of you who made a special trip to see me perform. Later in the evening I was told that a local news station had a segment about the market on their Saturday evening newscast and for a couple of seconds the camera showed me performing.
